Why should I buy GIA certified diamonds?
GIA certification is the highest grading scale available for natural diamonds. This means that with GIA certification, you are getting exactly what you're told on an objective, non-lenient scale, where as non-GIA certified diamonds might have been graded on a looser scale that misleads you about the true value of your diamonds. Additionally, GIA diamonds will retain value because their grading scale is trusted and reputable. To learn more about the Gemological Institute of America and what they do click here. What are the 4C's?
The 4C's are the factors upon which diamonds are graded. They include the cut, color, clarity, and carat weight of the diamond. The cut of the diamond is it's shape. The sparkle and brilliance of a diamond depends more on its cut than anything else. The color of the diamond is valued by how closely they approach being colorlessness. The less color a diamond has, the higher its value. The clarity of a diamond is the absence of inclusions and blemishes that makes a diamond rare and affects value. The carat weight is the size of the diamond. One carat is equal to 0.2 grams, about the weight of a paperclip. These for factor are what makes each diamond so unique. Visit the highlight reel on our Instagram to learn more in depth about the 4C's.
What are some popular diamond cuts?
The most popular diamond shape is the round cut. This classic cut will always retain its value due to it's timelessness. Some other popular cuts are princess, oval, cushion, pear, emerald, heart, and marquise. To learn more about the different diamond cuts, check out the highlight reel on our Instagram.

Because of the way our team walks our jewelry pieces through each step of the creation process, we are able to keep a careful eye on the total cost to unsure that it will remain below your set price limit.

What’s the best way to care for my jewelry?
Jewelry should sparkle, but exposure to dust and dirt, lotions and soaps, even air and moisture can dull pieces over time. To clean gold and diamond pieces, you can soak them in a mixture of dish soap and either water or seltzer water for about 5 minutes to loosen the dirt. Next, go over any crevices with a soft toothbrush to dislodge any dirt trapped inside. Lastly, rinse everything under running water and buff it dry with a soft cloth. We recommend removing your jewelry when washing your hands, applying lotions, showering, and swimming. You should also occasionally get your jewelry checked regularly by a jeweler to make sure the stones are in good shape and the settings are secure.
Do you have a warranty?
Answer
Should I insure my jewelry?
We highly recommend you ensure your diamond jewelry with an insurance agency. All of our orders come with a Diamond Love, Inc. certificate of appraisal. This appraisal will include all the details of your diamond jewelry and ensure that, in the case of loss, theft, or damage, your insurance company will give you an equal replacement of your item.
What is your return policy?
We offer our customers a full refund for any non-custom orders within 14 days of receiving the product. Due to the nature of custom orders, they are not available for refunds. However, we are happy to offer upgrades and exchanges for all of our orders, including custom ones.
